Before using HP Smart Update Manager to update firmware, back up the target server, and take all other necessary precautions so that mission-critical systems are not disrupted if a failure occurs. Can be run on localhost, what HP deems the server to be upgraded, or run on another computer and update 'nodes'. Download the latest SPP and place it into the 'Baseline'. Fixes – HP SUM includes a search box for finding updates that meet the search parameters.
You can search on file name, description, and update type.
Double-click an update to view its details.

Adding a baseline

On the Baseline Library screen, click Add Baselines.
NOTE:
If you want to clear the Add baselines screen, click Reset.

To add this baseline:
Browse HP SUM Server Path: This is a directory or file
share that the system running HP SUM can access.
a. Select the location type Browse HP SUM Server Path.
b. Enter the directory path to the baseline, or click
Browse and use the menu to navigate to the
directory.
NOTE:
If you are adding an SPP, navigate to the
hp/swpackages
directory.
UNC path (for example hostdir): This location uses
UNC paths that the system can access.
a. Select the location type UNC path (for example
hostdir).
NOTE:
Hp Smart Update Manager Isotonic Solution
UNC path is only supported in Windows
systems.
b. In the Enter URI for the baseline field, type the UNC
address for the source baseline.
c. Enter the username, required.
d. Enter the password, required
NOTE:
HP SUM does not support mapped UNC
drives.
Download from hp.com
a. Select the location type Download from hp.com.
b. In the Location Details section, click Browse and
select an empty directory where you want HP SUM
to store the downloaded baseline.
c. In the Proxy Settings section, select the Proxy Options:
• No Proxy Needed: Use this option if your network
settings do not require a proxy server.
• Proxy Server: Use this option if your network
settings require a proxy server. Add the Address,
Port, Username, and Password.
• Proxy Script: Use this option if your network
settings require a proxy script. Enter the Script,
Username, and Password.
d. Click Retrieve List.
e. Select the baseline you want to download.
NOTE:
HP SUM adds all baselines in a directory.

Click Add.
Check the activity log to see the status of the baseline.
NOTE:
If the baseline does not appear in the baseline list, make sure there are updates in
the directory.

In the case of Busy Celebrity (BC) and Promising Talent (PT), the gap between them continues to widen. Friends of the two have realized that BC and PT will never be close, as one of them cannot help but take subtle cheap shots at the other, who is merely keeping quiet.
Considering that their careers almost overlap, the expectation is for BC and PT to be cooperative instead of being adversarial in front of the camera. However, the two seem to be competing behind the camera. When Talented Colleague (TC) kidded BC that PT and Cute Performer (CP) were sweet toward each other, TC was caught off guard at the response of BC. BC said that she and CP were sweet as well some time ago. People who knew that prior to the closeness of PT and CP, BC used to be close to CP. As usual, rarely do young celebrity couples admit their relationship in public for fear that it would ruin their careers. Only when the heartbreak sets in would a celebrity admit that he/she had a relationship with a certain personality.
Nonetheless, PT did not let that side remark of BC pass. Using social media, PT allegedly expressed her sentiment by stating a message on being an adult, which her followers thought could have pertained to BC. While BC projects a sweet image, slowly, her true colors are emerging. She can be devious in an almost dismissive way, just like that cheap shot against BC or she can be arrogant in public. Unfortunately, people are already familiar with her face and name, and any misdeed caught by citizens can easily be posted in social media.
