The very first game in the Putt-Putt series, Putt-Putt, a purple car who lives in Cartown, hears news on the radio about a parade. The parade requires all cars who participate to have a balloon and a pet, as well as go through a carwash, but Putt-Putt does not have a pet.
Along the way, he does chores for the other villagers such as deliver groceries and mow lawns to earn coins. Eventually, he does find a pet, a dog he finds in a cave, who he names Pep. He helps another car out, whose son is lost in a drive-in. After finding him, the mother car gives Putt-Putt the balloon, and he can finally enter the parade.
This was a great start to a classic series, it introduces both Putt-Putt and Pep. You can also have Putt-Putt in another color by going to the Color Garage in town, after putting in 3 coins. A great way to earn coins is doing the chores. It is pretty short, but I enjoyed this game alot.
