I work with Excel files that have graphics (clip art) and graphs from the data on the spreadsheet. I use Excel 2007 and about a year and a half ago downloaded the 'convert to PDF' option from the Microsoft website. It's been working beautifully. In Excel, I a) set print area b) go to print preview and 'fit to one page' then convert to a PDF and everything on the PDF page looked exactly like it did in Excel Print Preview. It has been working flawlessly..
UNTIL..
..the most recent 'upgrades' were installed. Now the menu option reads, 'Save as PDF or XPS' and the resulting PDF is a mess. The Excel text comes out OK, but any graphics or Excel graphs will not resize and are completely off the page. For example, a graphic that is supposed to be in the lower right hand corner has to be resized in Excel, moved to the center of the spreadsheet, over the text and using this move, resize, save a PDF routine about 50 times and you can finally trick the PDF into looking like the Excel spreadsheet did. Of course, the Excel spreadsheet is totally messed up because you have to move the graphics all over the spreadsheet and it's a mess, to say nothing of a waste of time.
I unistalled the Microsoft PDF and XPS converter and then dowloaded and installed the PDF (only) converter. No luck. It's still a mess. My business is at a total standstill until I get this sorted out. PLEASE HELP!!
